Rolling Call for ASSISTID proposals until June 30th 2015

We are pleased to announce a rolling call for proposals for the ASSISTID programme in Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. We wish to attract top quality international fellows from a broad range of disciplines including behaviour analysis, rehabilitation, computer vision, robotics, policy, ethics, special education, engineering and augmentative and alternative communication.

Projects must have an aspect of technology application; this can include assessing the impact or application of existing technology in a specific cohort or situation (education, vocational rehabilitation or the teaching social skills, or the development of a new technology to be used to improve the quality of life for those with ID and ASD. Preojects can also examine the policy or ethics around the provision and application of AT, barriers to adoption etc.
